FOUNDING PILOT TERMS

These terms apply to the Along founding pilot operated by Loewenthal Ventures in Australia.

What Along is
Along is an AI voice companion delivered mainly through WhatsApp. It can hold conversations, remember selected information, preserve stories and provide limited practical assistance. Along is not human and may make mistakes.
Who may use it
Along is for adults aged 18 or older. A family member may help with setup, but the person having the conversations is the account holder and must personally consent. Helpers do not receive access to conversations, memories or email unless the account holder makes a separate, explicit sharing choice.
Founding-plan price
The proposed founding plan is A$10 per month after a 14-day free trial. Before any paid subscription begins, checkout will show the price, billing frequency, trial end date, renewal arrangements and cancellation method. There is no long-term commitment. Payment terms shown at checkout take precedence if they differ from this draft.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and service continues until the end of the paid billing period unless the checkout terms say otherwise. Cancelling payment does not automatically delete memories; the account holder may separately request deletion.
Safety and important decisions
Along is not a medical professional, therapist, emergency service, financial adviser or substitute for human care. Do not rely on it for diagnosis, treatment, emergencies, legal decisions or financial transactions. If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a trusted person.
AI limitations
Transcription and AI responses can be inaccurate. Along includes safeguards but cannot guarantee that every response or remembered detail is correct. Account holders can review, correct and delete remembered information.
Acceptable use
Do not use Along to harm, deceive, exploit or impersonate another person; obtain unauthorised access; share illegal material; or interfere with the service. We may pause access where reasonably necessary for safety, security or legal compliance.
Availability
The founding pilot is an early service. Features may change and interruptions may occur. We will take reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Privacy and ownership
The account holder retains ownership of their original stories and recordings. Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy. Along does not sell private stories or use them for advertising.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where reasonably practicable. Questions, complaints, access requests and cancellation help can be raised through the contact method in the invitation or by replying to Along and requesting human support.
This is a working pilot document and should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before payments are accepted.
